As part of the Clinical and Medical Hypnotherapy Centre we have access to a wide variety of therapies, techniques and experience that can be drawn on if necessary. And best of all they are all included with the Six Step System at no extra charge.

When you become a client at the Clinical and Medical Hypnotherapy Centre you are not limited to one kind of therapy. Our philosophy is very client focused so we believe in offering you every tool available to help you meet your goal in the shortest possible time.

This allows us both a lot of flexibility and means that all therapies are available to you within your programme without having to pay any extra.

We will work together to decide the most appropriate technique to use at any particular time. Normally each session will involve hypnotherapy with other techniques used whenever needed. 

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is basically inducing a state of focused attention which enables us to bypass the critical conscious mind and communicate directly with the subconscious mind. This enables us to not only change psychological beliefs, habits and behaviours but also directly influence biological processes to help bring about healing. 

Neuro-Conditioning

Neuro-conditioning is a new technology based on traditional brainwave entrainment. It uses specific frequencies and pulses which together with the hypnotherapist guide you into a very deep state of relaxation. This technology has many benefits it enables deep states of hypnosis to be attained even by people who are traditionally resistant, it also works on creating new positive neurological pathways and helping clients be more responsive to hypnotherapy.

Clients also find this a more enjoyable experience. Wearing headphones any disturbing background noises are eliminated enabling you focus more clearly on the experience. Interweaving natural sounds, special effects and other sound therapies you will experience a state of hypnosis like never before. 

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is an emotional, needle free version of acupuncture that is based on new discoveries regarding the connection between your body's subtle energies, your emotions, and your health. EFT has been reported successful in thousands of cases covering a huge range of emotional, health and performance issues.

We have found it particularly useful for dismantling negative beliefs and  dis-enpowering emotional states or memories.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

NLP is a very fast and powerful method of bringing about change. It provides a number of psychological tools, techniques and communication methods that do not require the induction of trance as in hypnotherapy. 

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioural therapy is a psychotherapeutic approach that aims to influence problematic and dysfunctional emotions, behaviours and thoughts through a goal-oriented, systematic procedure.

The technique helps you identify counterproductive thoughts and behaviours, and then learn methods for changing them on a conscious level.

It has been popularised by psychotherapists as it is practical and achieves results by helping clients learn new ways of thinking. 

Psychological Coaching

Psychological coaching employs the same principals of traditional coaching - helping clients decide what they want to achieve and working out a plan to get there. However it differs by employing advanced psychological techniques (like those listed above) to help overcome psychological challenges such as self-sabotage, fears, mental blocks and that feeling of being stuck.

We use psychological coaching on many of our programmes to facilitate and accelerate change in between sessions. As much coaching can be done by telephone it is also a practical and cost effective addition.

Dietary and Lifestyle Advice

We don't just focus on the psychological side. We are keen to help you make rapid and permanent change.

We will therefore provide you with sensible dietary and lifestyle advice as relevant to your condition. Many of our clients are already well aware of this already but there is no harm in having a gentle reminder.

The good news is that using our psychological techniques you find yourself making these changes willingly, effortlessly and even enjoyable whereas once they may have a struggle.
